How it works

Every Kristall Series filter is eligible for the Haus of Filters Lifetime Replacement Guarantee. Register your order once. Once you've driven at least 12,000 miles and at least 12 months have passed since your install date, reach out to us to request your replacement — we don't track mileage or time automatically, so it's on you to contact us when you're eligible.

What "Lifetime" means

"Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the guarantee, not an unlimited number of replacements — the same way a manufacturer's "lifetime transmission fluid" refers to the expected service life of that component, not a promise that holds forever. The Haus of Filters Lifetime Replacement Guarantee covers a maximum of 5 replacement filters per registered vehicle. At the standard 12-month / 12,000-mile interval between claims, that's a minimum of 5 years and 60,000 miles of coverage from your original registration — more if you space out your claims. Once your 5th replacement has shipped, the guarantee for that vehicle is fulfilled and no further replacements are issued under this program.

• Email confirmation when you register (this program is self-initiated — there are no automatic replacement reminders)

What you need to register

• Your order number (Amazon or hausoffilters.com)
• Vehicle make, model, and year
• Install date and odometer reading at time of install

What's not covered

• Installation labor — this program covers the filter only, not service
• Vehicles outside current Kristall Series fitment (see the Vehicle Fitment page for covered models)
• Replacement requests submitted before your vehicle's 12-month eligibility date
• Damage, misuse, or improper installation of the original filter

Eligibility rules

• One registration per order number
• One vehicle per registration
• Replacement requests are only eligible once both of the following are true since your last registered install: at least 12 months have passed, and at least 12,000 miles have been driven
• You'll self-report your current odometer reading when you request a replacement — requests that don't clearly meet both thresholds will be declined
• Registration must be completed within 20 days of your purchase date
• The guarantee is non-transferable — it's tied to the original registered owner and vehicle, and does not carry over if the vehicle is sold
• Coverage is capped at 5 replacement filters per registered vehicle; requests beyond the 5th are not eligible

Requesting your replacement

This program is self-initiated — we don't track your mileage or send reminders. Once you've hit both the 12-month and 12,000-mile mark since your last registered install, contact us with your current odometer reading. Once verified, we'll send your next Kristall Series filter for a flat $6.99 shipping & handling fee, up to your 5th replacement.

Changes to this guarantee

Haus of Filters reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Lifetime Replacement Guarantee at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Changes will not affect replacement requests already approved, but may affect eligibility for future requests.
